Frequently asked questions
Why is a card required for the trial?
There is no free tier, and that is an abuse decision rather than a pricing one. We cannot scan encrypted files — nobody can; that is the point — so our abuse control is accountability: every sender is a verified, billable identity. You can cancel during the trial and pay nothing.
What happens if I lose a link?
The link is the only place the decryption key exists, and it never reaches us. We cannot recover, reset, or reissue it — by design. If a link is lost, revoke it from your dashboard and send the file again.
What do you keep about a transfer?
Your account email; the transfer's size, timestamps, and state; an encrypted metadata blob we cannot read; and one-way hashes of the link identifiers. Never file contents, never filenames, never keys. Operational logs are deleted after 30 days, and transfer records are removed 30 days after a transfer ends. Do you scan files for viruses?
No, and we cannot — files reach us already encrypted, and scanning ciphertext is impossible. Our protection is different: every sender is a paying, card-verified identity, with a strict abuse policy behind it. Only download files you expected, from senders you know.
